Dr Cairo Ojougboh was born on September 8th, 1959 in Ika South LGA, Delta State. He began his early education at Pilgrims Baptist Primary School, Agbor Then completed it at Columba’s Grammar School (Now Gbenoba Grammar School, Agbor).
Dr Cairo Ojougboh went to Auchi Polytechnic where he obtained a degree. He also holds a degree from the University of Benin.
Dr Cairo Ojougboh Career
Dr Cairo Ojougboh began his career as a medical doctor before he ventured into politics where he became the Chairman Alliance for Democracy (AD). He also served as the Presidential Liaison Officer to the President on NASS and Special Assistant to Mr. President on NASS in 2007.
In 2013, Dr Cairo Ojougboh became the chairman of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority. He was also the National Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party South-South Nigeria. In 2016, he became the Deputy National Chairman of PDP before he was appointed as a political adviser to Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark CON, OFR.
Dr Cairo Ojougboh was a former member of the House of Representatives who represented the Ika federal constituency of Delta State. In 2019, he consented and lost in the Delta State Gubernatorial election under APC.
