Before we go into this post, I’m going to tell you that as at the time of writing this post, you cannot upgrade your access bank account online, you will have to go to the banking halls.

 

Requirements to upgrade my access bank account

1. Your ID, which can be your international passport, voter’s card, national ID card or driver’s license.
2. Last 3 months’ utility bill which can be NEPA bill (electricity bill), rent bill or any other bill.
3. A passport
4. A duly signed from which is issued by the bank.

How to upgrade my access bank account?

Walk into any access bank branch and head to the customer service section and tell them that you want to upgrade your access bank account.

You will be given a form to fill with information like your name, account number, bank verification number, home address, telephone number etc.

Make sure you fill the form correctly and submit, along with the required documents as requested by the staff.

The whole process should not take more than 24 hours or less to complete. Once it is complete, you can now receive any amount of money into your bank account.
