MTN Mifi not Turning on
If your MTN MiFi is not turning on, you will need to try any of the following solutions:
Plug in your MiFi
If the battery of the MTN MiFi is down, then it will not come on, so make sure that you properly plug in the MTN MiFi with the USSD cord connected to a computer.
If the MiFi is charging, the light on the charging icon will be blinking, if it is not blinking, then it is not charging.
Make sure the MiFi charges for a few hours, then you can try turning it on.
Change MiFi battery
Another thing you can try is to change the MTN MiFi battery. If the MiFi battery is bad, then you will not be able to turn on the MiFi, so you may need to get a new battery.
Make sure you don’t overcharge the MiFi battery, as it may cause it to overheat and it won’t turn on.
Long Press the Power button
In order to turn on the MTN MiFi, you will need to long Press the power button and wait until the green light comes on before you release the power button.
Just tapping on the button won’t turn it on, so you will need to long press the power button.
Check hardware for damage
You should check your MiFi hardware for any damage that may be preventing it from turning on. If it is something that can be fixed, then you may need to take it to the closest MTN office and get it replaced.
