What is happening with Chinmark group?
There has been call for the arrest of the CEO of Chinmark group “Marksman Chinedu Ijiomah” as a result of the failure of the company to pay its investors their Return on investment (ROI).
It has been reported that since December 202, the company has failed to pay the ROP to its investors.
According to reports, the Chinmark CEO Mr. marksman Chinedu Ijiomah has fled with his family to Dubai, and investors are set to lose over 10 billion naira in investments.
It should be noted that the SEC came out with statement that Chinmark investment scheme is not approved by the Nigerian government, and discouraged people against investing in the platform.
In the statement “The attention of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria (“SEC” wink has been drawn to the activities of an Illegal Operator (FINAFRICA INVESTMENT LIMITED). The Company claimed to be an Investment Company that engages in Business Development in Commercial sectors of the economy and uses the funds in entities under Chinmark Group.”
“The Commission hereby notifies the investing public that neither FINAFRICA INVESTMENT LIMITED nor Chinmark Group is registered by the SEC and the Investment Scheme promoted by these entities are also not authorized by the SEC”
After the release of this statement, many people allegedly pulled out their funds from the investment scheme, which has been in operation for over three years.
