How to block UBA ATM card via USSD
The fastest way to block your UBA ATM card is by using the UBA USSD code for blocking ATM cards. You can always unblock it later by visiting the bank or request for a new ATM card.
- Dial *919# from the phone that is registered with the bank account
- Press 8 to go to the next MENU
- Press 2 to block debit card (ATM card).
The good news is that, once you block the ATM card, withdrawals from ATMs, POS would be made impossible.
How to block UBA ATM card via internet banking
Another method to block your UBA debit card is by using the UBA internet banking platform. The process is fairly easy, just make sure you are already registered for UBA internet bankin:
- Visit the UBA internet URL https://www.ubagroup.com/internet-banking/
- Log in with your User ID and password
- Tap on the “Self-service” option
- Then follow the on screen directions to get your card blocked

You can also decide to contact the UBA customer support, and request for your debit card to be blocked. There are many channels in which you can contact the UBA customer support to do this:

Other methods to block your UBA ATM card
You can also visit the nearest UBA bank branch to block your ATM card. Just walk straight to the customer service desk and request for ATM card blocking, and they will be happy to help you.
You can decide to request for a new ATM card if you believe the previous one is completely compromised or lost.
In other to be extra careful, you can also transfer the funds in the account to a different account, but if you have already blocked the ATM card, then there is no need for this.
