What is Pinkoin?
Pinkcoin is a digital currency/crypto launched in Nigeria by Mr. Omotade Amos, who is the CEO of IBSmartify Nigeria.
Pinkoin is a blockchain based digital asset designed to support charities & non-profit organizations and according to the inksnation website, will pay every single Nigerian, African & human being on earth including babies born every day, a minimum of 120,000 naira monthly for life.
Pinkoin was launched in May 2nd 2014 by a developer on bitcointalk named Bigman. For the first 7 days of its inception, PINK was POW only, afterwards it became a standard PoS altcoin with an annual staked return around 1-2%.
Although Pinkoin was largely generic on the inside, strong community leaders emerged who saw great potential in developing Pinkoin on the outside.
What is inksnation?
Inksnation is the world’s first charitable trust that exists as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
They claim that they can end poverty in any country in less than 9 months with the use of their own blockchain known as “Inksledger”.
The headquarters is located in Nigeria at 19 Posukoh quarters off Joseph Dosu way, badagry, Lagos state.
The official website is operated by IBSmartify and it is registered with the corporate affairs commission in Nigeria.
What is inksledger?
Inksledger is the name given to the blockchain of Inksnation pinkoin. Inksledger does not function like the normal blockchain we are all used to, were numerous computers are used as nodes.
Inksledger is to function as a first of its kind charitable blockchain that will be backed by human assets. This means that every member that signs up with inksnation becomes a living node on its blockchain.
Inksledger proposes to use what it calls the proof of love consensus mechanism & inkrestation. The concept of how human nodes will confirm transaction is still a blur.

You can earn money on the platform by recruiting new members. If User A recruit user B, User B will go ahead and register and make payment to user A, and provide proof of payment along with username.
Once payment is confirmed by User A. he will activate user B account. User B will go ahead to print and activate his pinkard.
User B will receive the sum of 70,000NGN in his Pinkard. User B will then use the money to register new members and activate their account, as soon as he confirms payment.
After activating the person’s account, that amount will be deducted from User B pinkard. When the 70,000 NGN is exhausted, User B will keep 50K for himself.

Is Pinkoin legit (is inksnation legit?)
This is the million-dollar question. Pinkoin has grown in popularity over the past few months, and many people want to know if it is a legit platform that will deliver on its promises.
There is no direct answer to this question, Pinkoin cannot just be labeled a scam or legit platform, it is more complicated than that.
Pinkoin is an idea, the entire inksnation is an idea, this means that it could work and it could also fail. If you have read enough on Pinkoin, you will know that it is far from the finished product.
Inksnation promises a lot, and if many people adopt and use the currency, it will definitely go a long way in making the project a success.
If you believe in the inksnation project, then you can go ahead and invest in it, but if you are in doubt, you have every right to be.
