Broker Chooser is responsible for assisting independent traders and investors to hire brokers suitable for their respective needs. This company undertook  research involving its own clients. The company wished to know about the most popular financial products in 2019-2022.

The survey discovered that traditional assets did not seem to hold as much appeal as they did earlier. Instead, digital currencies seemed to be attracting people in large numbers.

Bitstamp’s Survey

The world’s longest-standing cryptocurrency exchange, Bitstamp, had conducted a survey, sometime ago. The survey took place from May 19, 2022, until June 6, 2022. The participants included both, retail investors (23,000) and institutional decision-makers (5,000).

The results were surprising. Europeans have begun to express a keen interest in digital currencies. England, France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy, have the most enthusiastic investors. They number over 10,000, in the retail section. An additional 2,000 are institutional decision-makers.

It is interesting that the crypto winter has not impacted the mindsets of European investors. People had been engaged in experimenting with digital currencies, even in 2021. At that time, their percentage had been 45%. Today, it has gone up to 52%.

Bank of America’s Survey

This Bank conducted a survey in July 2022. However, it covered only its customers. According to the report, there has been a decline in the usage of cryptocurrencies, in recent months. The decline is around 50%.

An analysis would suggest that many people still retained confidence in virtual currencies. At the same time, many people also began to lose faith in digital assets. Statistical data reveals that their percentage has come down from 54% in April, to 52% today. It means that investors are beginning to be wary and apprehensive.

However, the scenario is neither too heartening, nor too dismal, across Europe. The percentage of crypto enthusiasts varies from one nation to another. For instance, Germans are inclined to be highly optimistic. It is why the number of their investors has moved from 56% to 63%. In contrast, people in the UK are becoming cautious. Therefore, the number of investors has decreased from 52% to 42%.

Lack of Education Regarding Cryptocurrencies

People, who are familiar with Internet browsing, would immediately step onto This URL. It is a highly intelligent and knowledgeable, investment and trading platform. Users may comprehend quite a bit about digital currencies by going through this website.

However, not all crypto investors are capable of learning through websites. They may benefit via professional help, social/print media, or informative reports. In this case, the survey reports, themselves, confirmed that lack of education was preventing many people from dabbling in the cryptocurrency marketplaces.

The statistics related to European nations, were enlightening. One amongst five respondents expressed an interest in investing in digital currencies. At the same time, there was apprehension, too. It was because beginners/novices felt that they did not have sufficient knowledge to get started. The wariest people were from the UK! They numbered 25%, then. Today, the percentage has risen to 31%.

Resolving Issues Related to Education about Cryptocurrencies

Sensing this, several digital currency companies offer free courses to interested people. They include, Binance, Coinbase, and Revolut. Their students may also watch videos or answer quizzes, for attractive rewards.

Bitstamp has now joined this gang of educators! It is all set to provide a guide on digital currencies to consumers. All the essential knowledge will be available, for intelligent investments.

Jean-Baptiste Graftieaux is the CEO of Bitstamp Global. According to him, surveys regarding the crypto pulse, reveal that people are keen to know more about virtual currencies. True, the global marketplace has thrown up several challenges. Regardless, the enthusiasm for cryptos has not waned. It is why organizations must go all out to offer well-researched and credible information to the public. It should serve to help everyday investors in wise decision-making. In turn, it will lead to garnering of profits.

Bitstamp believes that appropriate education will suffice to integrate cryptocurrencies into the mainstream. Therefore, the establishment is on a mission to create a standard in these two areas. Hopefully, the world of cryptos flourishes to such an extent, that it becomes mainstream over the next decade. Once virtual currencies become modes of online payment, suitable regulations should come into force, too.
