If you are one of the large data users, then you will agree with me, that the airtel night plan is very important, useful and economical.

Since there are so many expensive data plans out there, and the fact that some of these plans don’t last the supposed number of days, the night plan is one way to save your normal subscription, while being able to use large data at little price.

The airtel night plan is available to Airtel SmartTrybe users, and you can get 500MB for as little as 25 naira and also, 1GB for as little as 100 naira.

When using this plan, it is also important that you monitor the amount of data you have used, so you don’t continue browsing heavily, even after your night plan has been exhausted.

In this post, I am going to be writing about all you will need to know about how to check Airtel Night plan balance and more.

If your airtel night plan gets exhausted when you are browsing, you will continue browsing from your main data. Since airtel don’t send you the messages to update you on your remaining data, like they do for the normal subscription, you will have to check it yourself.

The code for checking your airtel data balance is *140#, and a message will be sent to your phone, showing your remaining data bundles.

Unfortunately, you cannot use this USSD code for checking your night time bundle, and there is no special USSD code for checking your night plan balance.

However, you can go to your phone settings, find data usage and tap it, from the MENU, you will be able to see how much data you have used.

You can adjust the range within the select time you want to check for, and you will be able to see how much data you have used. If it has exceeded the amount given to you as night plan, then you will know you are browsing from your main subscription.

Another way around this is to create a data usage limit, for example you could create a usage limit of 500MB, so once it is exhausted, your data connection goes off.

With the above, you will know that your night plan is exhausted, and you can easily turn off the setting, and return back to browsing form your normal data plan.

For now, this is the only work around checking your night data plan, hopefully in the future, airtel will release a USSD code for checking the balance.
