How to open Opay account

Follow the below instructions to create an Opay account:

Go to the Google playstore
Search for the Opay app
Download the Opay app
Install the App
Launch the app
Click on SIGN UP
Input all the required details for Correctly to create an account.

When you create an account, Opay will impose some restrictions on it, like a 30,000 naira account limit as well as a daily transfer limit of 10,000 naira.

You can easily remove this limits by providing a government issued ID card, utility bill and Bank verification number.

How to fund you Opay wallet/account

There are mainly three methods you can fund your Opay wallet:

You can fund your Opay wallet by linking your debit card to your Opay account, which will obviously allow you to easily deposit money on your Opay wallet.

Another way to deposit on your Opay wallet is by transferring from your mobile app. You can easily do this by getting your Opay account number, which is basically just the phone number you used in registering your bank account without the zero (0).

When you are transferring money on your mobile app to the Opay wallet, you will need to select PAYCOM as the bank. Make sure your bank is among the Opay supported banks (Access bank, zenith bank, UBA, Heritage, Union bank, diamond bank, Stanbic ibtc, FCMB, Sterling bank, Wema bank and GTbank.).

The third method of funding your Opay wallet is via an Opay agent. Once you locate the nearest Opay agent, he/she can help you deposit on your Opay wallet, all you have to do is provide him with your Opay account number, and also give him the cash equivalent of the amount he is transferring.

How to withdraw from Opay wallet/account

There are two major ways you can withdraw from your Opay wallet:
