Remitano

Remitano is owned by Babylon solutions limited, a Seychelles based company. It is a cryptocurrency exchange that was founded in 2014.

Remitano is not a direct exchange where you can buy e-currency from directly, but rather it is a peer to peer exchange.

This means that, it is a platform where buyers and sellers meet to buy and sell e-currency.

Remitano allows sellers to list their crypto assets for sale. When a buyer requests to buy a crypto asset, the seller transfers the crypto asset to remitano’s wallet, basically locking them.

When the buyer has paid the agreed amount in Fiat currency to the seller, remitano remits the locked coins to the buyer and collects a small transaction fee for it’s escrow services.

This greatly reduced the chances of someone getting scammed on the platform.

Remitanoalso has some security features to improve it’s platform reliability.

1. A 2 factor authentication process for initiating transactions.

2. The escrow system

3.The seller reputation metrics system which provides a lot of information that a buyer can use in knowing wether a seller is authentic or not.

4. KYC process where sellers are identified by their government ID documents.

5.Trade timeouts after a period of inactivity which requires the parties to begin the process again and identify themselves.

6. A feedback scoring system.

7. Login protection via email verification system.
